1- WHERE IS CROCRO SURF CAMP MOROCCO LOCATED?
CROCRO Surf Camp is located 16 km from the city of Agadir and 45 minutes from the international airport of Agadir Al Massira.It is the perfect location due to the amazing waves (for beginners as well as for pros) and climate (more than 300 sunny days a year)! Let’s pack!

2- GETTING TO SURF CAMP?
Upon arrival, we will take you to the Camp, a nice 45 min drive along the coastal road. If you arrive to Marrakech we can either pick you up there or you can take the bus to Agadir. We recommend CTM or Supratours company.

3- WHAT ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION?
Our surf camp is a beautiful house with rooms for 1 – 6 people and nice terraces with the ocean view. Need more privacy? Get the fully equipped (kitchen, satellite TV and air conditioner) apartment with the ocean view! Book in advance!

4- WHEN DO I CHECK IN/OUT?

You can arrive any time and any day of the week, but it will not be always possible to have your room ready before 2 p.m. Anyways we will store your luggage safely so you could start off your journey. The usual check out hour is 12 p.m., but if you have a flight late at night we will do our best to help you feel comfortable until the last minute of your stay!

5- WHAT CAN I DO DURING MY FREE TIME?

It depends on the chosen package.

If you stay, say, in Agadir, you can visit the local market, souk, to see the vibrant life of the country.

You might also like to check out the Medina of Coco Polizzi or go to Paradise Valley, transparent natural pools surrounded by the palm trees.

Basically, we can organize almost all kind of activities for you! Just let us know what you want!

6- WHAT DO I PACK?

Beachwear, a towel, a swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses, flip flops, a beach bag, warm clothing for cool nights – if you choose the surf or yoga package and trekking clothes and shoes – for trekking. When you choose the package we will send an E-mail to you with all the information!

7- DO YOU PROVIDE WITH TOWELS?
Yep! But those towels are to be used on the camp territory only. Please take your own towel to the beach!

8- HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
Morocco is an Islamic country, but moderate and tolerant. People here understand and respect other cultures so there is no need to wear hijab on the beach. You can wear shorts and a t-shirt or a summer dress (except ultra mini please, let’s pay back with the same respect). The swimsuits and bikinis (except strings please) can be worn on the beach. For the city – preferable to wear jeans or trousers and a t-shirt (plus always have a warm sweater with you for the night).

9- CAN I COME WITH MY CHILDREN?

Children of all ages can and should come to see our country. To make it easier for the parents to manage everything during the vacation, we offer you using the services of the professional babysitters for 20 euro/day

10- WHAT IS THE BEST TIME FOR SURFING?
Morocco is a great surfing destination throughout the year and the weather is beautiful all the time. There is a huge variety of surf spots, ideal waves for beginners with nice sandy beaches and the most challenging reefs for profs. Though it is sunny all year round the water might be chilly especially in the morning, so you will have to wear a full body wetsuit 3/2mm.

11- DO I NEED A VISA?

If you come for 90 days or less just your passport is required.

If you are planning to stay longer than 90 days, it is advisable to make an appointment with the representative of the Moroccan immigration service and request your visa extension which should not exceed three months.

12- WHAT ADDRESS SHOULD I MENTION IN THE CUSTOMS FORM?

When you arrive and depart, you will have to fill in a form with the basic information such as your name, date of birth, occupation, passport number, etc. As your address in Morocco, specify Crocro Surf Morocco, Aghrod (Paradis plage).

13- WHAT IS THE LOCAL CURRENCY /ARE THERE ANY EXCHANGE OFFICES ?

The Moroccan currency is dirham. Exchange rate: 10,5 Dh = 1 euro. The dirhams are not exchangeable outside Morocco. There are some ATMs and a currency exchange office at the airport. Some ATMs are available in Agadir and Aourir (15 minutes drive from the surf camp).

14- CAN I USE MY PHONE ON SITE / THE SURF CAMP THERE HAS THE WI-FI ?

Almost all European telephone operators have established a partnership with the Moroccan operators and that’s why there is a very good network coverage even on the beaches. Contact your operator for more information.

Anyways, WI-FI works on all the territory of the Camp.

15- WHAT IS THE DIALING CODE OF MOROCCO?

The international dialing code of Morocco is +212. If calling from abroad, dial the operator code (+ or 00) and the code of the country, then the number. If calling locally, no need to dial 212, just add a 0 before the number.

16- WHAT ABOUT ALCOHOL?

Alcohol is sold in some supermarkets (Metro, Uniprix and Marjane) (all of them close at 8 p.m.).
